REALTOR® Membership
Provisional Membership is granted to all applicants for REALTOR® and REALTOR-ASSOCIATE® membership immediately upon submission of a completed application form and remittance of applicable association dues and any application fees. Provisional members shall be considered REALTORS® or REALTOR-ASSOCIATES® and shall be subject to all of the same privileges and obligations of membership.
The applicant must satisfy all of the membership requirements within ninety (90) days from the Association's receipt of their application or membership may, at the discretion of the Board of Directors, be terminated. For questions or more information, contact Phyllis McKee

MLS-Only Requirements
|
At MAAR, Affiliate Brokers are called REALTOR-Associates® and MLS Subscribers. To join MAAR as a REALTOR-Associate®, submit the following forms:
- REALTOR-ASSOCIATE® Application signed by the Designated REALTOR® and the applicant
- Copy of affiliate broker's license
- MLS Lockbox System Agreement, if applicable
And then:
- Pay dues and fees
- Complete New Member Orientation within ninety (90) days
- Complete a REALTOR® Code of Ethics course within ninety (90) days
- Complete MLS Orientation within ninety (90) days, if applicable
- Election to REALTOR-ASSOCIATE® membership by voting members

At MAAR, Brokers are called REALTORS® and MLS Subscribers. To join MAAR as a REALTOR®, submit the following forms:

- Copy of broker's license
- MLS Lockbox System Agreement, if applicable

- Election to REALTOR® membership by voting members

At MAAR, Principal Brokers are called Designated REALTORS® and MLS Participants. To join MAAR as a Designated REALTOR®, submit the following forms:
- Designated REALTOR® Application
- Copy of broker's license
- Copy of firm license
- Completed Firm Participation Agreement (For MLS Participation)
- MLS Lockbox System Agreement (Optional for MLS Participants)
And then:
- Pay dues and fees
- Attend New Member Orientation
- Complete a REALTOR® Code of Ethics course within ninety (90) days
- Complete Designated REALTOR® Orientation within 180 days
- Complete MLS Orientation within ninety (90) days, if applicable
- Election to Designated REALTOR® membership by voting members

Submit the following forms:
- MLS-Only Application
- Copy of real estate license
- Lockbox System Agreement, if applicable
- MLS-Only Reinstatement Form, if re-applying within six (6) months of terminating
- MLS Subscriber Form for Current Members
- Pay dues and fees
- Complete MLS Orientation within ninety (90) days
MLS-Only applicants must hold primary membership with another association and must be licensed in the state of Tennessee.
