As part of our ongoing commitment to advocating for private property rights and homeownership, the MAAR Governmental Affairs Committee spent several weeks interviewing multiple candidates running for elected office in Shelby County.

After careful consideration, their recommendations were sent to the MAAR Board of Directors and approved. Below is the list of candidates in the upcoming election on May 5 that MAAR feels will serve in the best interests of the real estate industry and the community at large.
