Over the summer, the Governing Documents Committee proposed seven amendments to the MAAR Bylaws. The proposed amendments were distributed to the membership and were part of the agenda for the Annual Meeting on Thursday, September 9.
Amendments to the Bylaws, per the Bylaws, require a quorum of REALTOR® members and can only be voted on at in-person meetings.
Unfortunately, we did not reach quorum at the Annual Meeting. Consequently, we could not discuss the proposed amendments and were unable to hold a vote. The MAAR Bylaws remain unchanged at this time.
The proposed amendments will be brought forth to the membership at a date to be determined.
