Thomas Charles Kimbrough passed away on June 10, 2021, at the age of 83.

Born in Memphis on November 30, 1937, Tom attended Pentecost-Garrison School, East High School, Baylor Preparatory School and Vanderbilt University. Tom was an avid outdoorsman and skilled skier, scuba diver and skydiver. He was known for his love of nature, sense of humor, storytelling and willingness to help others.

Tom is best remembered for his successful career in real estate as a developer, investor and broker. As Vice President of Crye-Leike, he managed operations in Nashville for several years, opened the first Crye-Leike East Memphis office, and opened multiple offices in Middle Tennessee. He also served as President of MAAR in 1997.

Tom was a lifelong member of Second Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Joy; his three sons, Tom, Keller and Chris; and seven grandchildren, Chris, Lucy, Josephine, Charles, Peggy, Allie and Paul. He was predeceased by his daughter, Leigh.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 13, 3–5 p.m. at Canale Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at Elmwood Cemetery on Monday, June 14 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to Church Health or the Mid-South Food Bank.
