Education Scholarships
The MAAR Education Foundation offers three types of scholarships to MAAR members. Applications are accepted twice per year, with deadlines of April 30 and September 15.
New Member Scholarship for Professional Designation
Available to MAAR members joining one year ago or less at the time of application.
If selected, this scholarship will assist the new member in obtaining a professional REALTOR® designation by funding the tuition of the ABR, GRI, GREEN, SRES or SRS course of their choice.

Professional Designation Scholarship
Available to MAAR members joining one year ago or more at the time of application.
Selected applicants will receive up to $500 to fund the tuition of the designation course of their choice.

Newman Cross, CCIM Memorial Scholarship
Selected applicants will receive full funding to attend the CCIM course of their choice. Applicants are selected by the MAAR Commercial Council Education Committee. With approval of the Education Foundation, the monetary amount may be adjusted. Selection criteria:
- Education/professional background
- Degree
- Real estate license
- Completion of at least one year in commercial real estate practice
- Candidate member, CCIM Institute (or agreement to apply)
- Leadership achievements
- Community involvement
- Financial need
