The Voice for Local Real Estate

MAARdata & MLS

Good information is the key to good counsel.

Most real estate professionals have access to a computerized inventory of residential listings known as the Multiple Listings Service, or MLS. MAAR has operated its own MLS system, known as the MLXchange, since 1954. It is the trusted source for what real estate is available in the market at any given moment.

MAAR members pack in a one-two power punch with access to a second valuable resource - MAARdata. This online tax database is maintained by the Association and contains comprehensive information on all parcels of property in Shelby, Fayette and Tipton counties from public sources and area real estate appraisers.

This system provides precise information that REALTORS® use in both listing and selling properties in the Memphis area. Together, these databases provide powerful tools for understanding and navigating the Memphis-area real estate market and are only available through a MAAR REALTOR®.

MAARdata and MLS: Powerful. Precise. Trusted.

You are never alone. In fact, you have a whole team behind you to lend a hand! Meet the MLS Support Team.

The Value of MAARdata & MLS Video

I’m Michael Green, 2011 Chairman of the Memphis Area Association of REALTORS MLS Committee.

As REALTORS, we all understand how vital the Multiple Listing Service is. But for MAAR members, our technology services go far beyond access to the MLS. We also maintain MAARdata, a members-only public records database that includes an active and constantly updated compilation of 400,000 properties, more than 400,000 sales, and appraisers’ physical data reports of 170,000 properties.

MAAR also offers regular MLS and MAARdata training classes every month. Best of all, a team of six MAAR technology services employees stands ready to assist you at a moment’s notice.

MAAR’s extensive technology services are just another way you receive full value from your membership.
