Multiple Listing Service (MLS)
A computerized inventory of residential listings is available 24 hours a day.

MAARdata
The online cousin of the MLS, www.MAARdata.org, is a tax database containing information from Shelby County appraisers, the Shelby County Register's office and the Shelby County Assessor’s office.

Education
MAAR offers a variety of real estate coursehttp://maar.org/ce/schedule.asps and seminars by award winning experts. Several course offerings lead to professional specialty designations like GRI, CRS, CCIM, etc. MAAR also maintains an Education Foundation that funds scholarships for members pursuing professional development and a student scholarship at the University of Memphis.

Legal Hotline
This service is provided by the Tennessee Association of REALTORS®. It offers legal information and advice accessed through a toll free number. Principal brokers should call 1-800-899-5297.

Professional Standards
MAAR members subscribe to the REALTOR® Code of Ethics. MAAR enforces compliance and conducts hearings for conflicts among board members and consumers. Arbitration hearings are also conducted for conflicts arising between association members and member firms.

MAAR members receive official publications of the Tennessee Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. MAAR MONTHLY, the monthly magazine of MAAR, will be sent to you at your preferred address, home or office. For your advertising needs, HOMES For Sale™ magazine reaches over 26,000 readers every two weeks. The MAAR Weekly REALTOR is an e-mail bulletin sent to all members.

Political Action
The REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) is one of the nation's largest and most influential. Candidates sensitive to private property rights and real property rights are supported with voluntary funds raised by the membership. RPAC supports candidates at every level: local, state and federal.

Insurance
TAR offers a group insurance plan through John Pearl & Associates, underwritten by CNA Insurance. This excellent major medical coverage is available at a reduced rate.

Committee work is the backbone of your Association. Committees offer you the opportunity to get involved and make a difference. Your input helps make MAAR a stronger voice for real estate.

Legislative Voice
Your registered lobbyist voices REALTOR® concerns on a daily basis during the General Assembly session. REALTOR® driven initiatives have resulted in significant legislation that benefits real estate professionals and those they represent.

Advertising and Public Relations
MAAR funds print and TV advertising on behalf of all REALTORS® and maintains contact with over 100 media outlets on a regular basis. The Association also sponsors various events that foster a positive public image of REALTORS®.

Meetings, Conventions and Conferences
Each fall, winter and summer TAR sponsors a three-day convention. A mid-year legislative conference in Washington, D.C. and a fall annual convention and trade exposition are offered each year by NAR. MAAR holds regular meetings and events and its annual election in the early fall.

REALTOR® Store
MAAR's REALTOR® Store has a wide variety of items available for your real estate needs, including SOLD signs, member directories, MLS map books, flyer boxes and more. For a complete list, click here. The REALTOR® Store is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
