Governmental Affairs - RPAC
RPAC is the single grass roots and issues mobilizing
force protecting and promoting the tradition of home ownership and
real estate investment.
RPAC's strength is derived from the contributions it receives from MAAR's membership and the encouragement provided by MAAR's brokers. RPAC contributions can be given at the $15 to $5,000 level. For a list of contribution levels and rules for RPAC, click here. The most recent list of 2006 MAAR RPAC Contributors and 2006 MAAR 100% RPAC Companies can be found by clicking on the above links. 100% of your contribution to RPAC is used to elect pro-REALTOR® candidates who share our views on important issues like homeownership, property rights, taxes and the economy, growth management, technology, and the environment. MAAR's Governmental Affairs Committee and Board of Directors consider candidate interviews, voting records on key real estate issues, and electability in making recommendations for RPAC candidate support. RPAC is neither a Republican nor a Democratic organization.
Contributions made by personal check only and payable to "RPAC" can given to a member of the 2004 RPAC Committee or sent to MAAR Governmental Affairs Department, P.O. Box 171159, Memphis, TN 38187-1159.
