CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation. CCIM designees

asset management, valuations, and investment analysis.
- Industrial and Office – If you want to buy, sell,
or lease office space or industrial property, a member of the Society
of Industrial and Office REALTORS® (SIOR) can assist you with your
next venture. SIOR members have met rigorous requirements based on
their performance, knowledge of the commercial real estate industry,
and adherence to ethical standards.
- Land – If you are seeking to buy or sell farmland
or land for investment and/or development purposes, a member of the
REALTORS® Land Institute (RLI) can provide you with expertise on
land brokerage. RLI awards the ALC (Accredited Land Consultant) designation
to those members who have met comprehensive educational and experience
requirements regarding land-related real estate services.
- Property Management – Individuals looking for assistance with their property management needs should look for a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). IREM members serve clients in all aspects of real estate management, including multifamily housing, office buildings, and shopping centers. IREM has designed the CPM (Certified Property Manager) designation to prepare managers of large residential, commercial, retail or industrial properties, or mixed portfolios and the ARM (Accredited Residential Manager) for managers of apartments, homeowners' or condominium associations, single-family homes, or mobile home parks.
